Old Castle Upgrades Bagging Plant

Old Castle’s Amherst Wisconsin plant recently upgraded their bagging operations with the all new nVenia HAMER Brand Model 2090 form, fill & seal system.  

The new system consists of HAMER in-feeds, a 300VF volumetric filler, the all-new Model 2090 form, fill & seal, an automated palletizer and a Wulftec stretch wrapper.  

Systems speeds are designed for 26-28 bags per minute on 2 cu ft mulch bags and 30 bags per minute on 1/2 cu ft soil bags.  

The system has met production expectations and was straightforward to start up and operate.
