Large Format Printers Aid Automated Fertilizer Bagging

With the launch of ITW Norwood’s NGT 8E  large format thermal transfer label printer, fertilizer packagers can now print up to 6″ x 8″ ingredient formulations in real time when connected to nVenia HAMER Brand bagging equipment. 

This means no more printing of labels to apply to hand bagged products or use of expensive window bags and the labor required to insert formulation ship sheets into the window bag.  

Our team has integrated the NGT 8E into its Model 2090  form, fill & seal machine. This combination of automated bagging and automated formulation printing allows fertilizer blenders and packagers to reduce bag cost, bagging labor while improving production quality and quantity.
